The Editors of the Eritrean Community Association of Edmonton (ECAE) – Social Media are delighted to announce the launching of our community based webpage serving the Eritrean community and their friends in Edmonton and its environs. As we venture through this journey into the known and the unknown, we are glad to have you journey with us. We are hoping that is venture will be a valuable tool to reach to you, and you to us.
The Eritrean Community Association has its roots in Edmonton since the early 90ies. It has developed through time accommodating various platforms to communicate its activities. The community radio is one such a forum that the Association has utilized and will continue to use.
As we move deeper into the 21st century, it has become necessary to use media platforms that are current so as to communicate easily with our members and the general public. ECAE will continue to make use of all available media platforms to reach you.
Through this webpage you will potentially be able to do the following:
- Follow on relevant news, opinion articles and editorials that are relevant to your day to day life here in Edmonton, in Alberta as well as in Canada as a whole,
- You will find information on programs that ECAE is offering that can be of benefit to you and your family,
- You will be kept informed on our upcoming events via our calendar so as you plan to join us,
- You will be able to become a member of the community organization via our electronic, registration system. You will be able to renew this membership regularly and get notified when your membership is about to expire,
- You will be able to provide comments and feedback on ECAE’s activities.
